Dr. Brittany Singleton holds the rank of Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Clinical and Administrative Sciences. Dr. Singleton earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from 91勛圖厙. Upon graduation, she completed an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency at Critical Care Systems/Walgreens Infusion Services in Houston, TX. She maintains licensure as a registered pharmacist in the state of Louisiana. Dr. Singleton currently serves as an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist at the NOEH Diabetes Center in eastern New Orleans. At this site, Dr. Singleton provides diabetes education and management while serving as a preceptor to third and fourth year pharmacy students and pharmacy residents. She is currently conducting research via multiple grant funded projects related to COVID-19 impact and vaccine hesitancy within vulnerable populations of color. Dr. Singleton also maintains dual credentials as a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Board Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist.
