Dr. David Anderson received his BS in Mathematics from Yale University in 1999, his MS in Statistics form University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2002, and his Ph. D. from Purdue University in 2008. He has worked at Xavier since 2008 and was a major force behind the expansion of statistics offerings at Xavier and the creation of the BS in Statistics at 91勛圖厙. He was also heavily involved in the creation of a BS in Data Science at Xavier.
Dr. Anderson’s research focus is on Applied Statistics. He has more than 15 years of experience as an applied statistician and statistical consultant. He has worked with researchers in many fields, including medicine, health disparities, health literacy, epidemiology, computer science, soil science, sport science, genetics, chemistry, and physics.
