The Truth Exposed: The Effects of COVID-19 & Being Black in America
The media and data tell us that COVID-19 is disproportionately impacting Black communities. What isnt being clearly
stated is the history of racism and white supremacy in our public policies and healthcare system that have led to the Black
population being more at risk, while also rightfully mistrusting the health system that is supposed to save their lives.
Join us for an honest conversation about the effects of COVID-19 and being Black in America. Moderated by Dr. David
Robinson-Morris, a panel of local experts working at the intersection of equity, policy, and the social determinants of
health will have a conversation in response to the questions the community needs answered.
