Post Office
The Campus Post Office is located on the first floor of the University Center across the hall from the Office of Auxiliary and Support Services. Responsibilities include processing incoming/outgoing U. S. Postal Mail and on-campus mail in an efficient and timely manner.
* Note: Federal Express Mail, DHL Mail (formerly Airborne Express), and items shipped via UPS are handled through the Receiving Department (504-520-7345).

International Mail
All international mail must be accompanied by a completed “Customs Form”. The University Post Office can only accept “Customs Forms” generated via . Under no circumstances will the University Post Office accept or process international mail without a computer generated Customs Form.
To complete a “Customs Form”:
- Visit
- Place your cursor over the “INTERNATIONAL” tab on the “Quick Tools” bar at the top of the page.
- Select “Completing Customs Forms”
- Scroll down the page and select “Create Form”
- Complete the form and print a copy to accompany your international mail.
